Behavioural Insights (BI) is increasingly being used as part of government policy development in many countries around the world. The adoption and understanding of the use of BI in Malaysia is still at an early stage.

Under the Twelfth Malaysian Plan, the Malaysian government intends to use BI as a complementary tool to existing policy-making processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency in public sector service delivery.

The introduction of new mechanisms and innovative approaches will promote efficiency in policy implementation amidst current challenges.

The conference will provide an opportunity for policy makers and BI practitioners to discuss the mainstreaming of BI in governments and explore innovative ways to solve complex policy problems.
